FULL PAPERS SUBMISSION
Some relevant general points you must know about it:
Presenting authors must be registered to confirm participation in order to include the abstract in the conference program and also in the special issue of the Journal of Coastal Research (JCR).
Some relevant general points you must know about it:
- We invite submission of papers relating to oral presentations as well as posters.
- Authors with accepted abstracts can present their work during the ICS2020. However if they want their contribution to be PUBLISHED in the SI of Journal of Coastal Research (JCR), a full paper (5 pages) MUST be submitted.
The deadline is November 21st 2019. - We aim to improve the quality of the papers and increase the involvement of the delegates by engaging all delegates in the paper reviewing process. By submitting a paper, the author agrees to be reviewed by the Scientific Committee who will provide a constructive criticism and comments and could request a second submission to the author.
- As always with conferences, the timetable is very tight and also rigid. For example, we must have the conference proceedings available at the start of the conference. We must therefore all adhere to the deadlines both, for paper submission and reviewers’ comments. We cannot accept papers submitted after the deadline nor can we accept papers by authors who do not engage in a timely manner with the reviewing process.
- Presenting author of the paper must be registered (with his fee duly paid) before April 1st and the paper must be presented at the conference in order to be included in a special issue of the Journal of Coastal Research (JCR). The Journal of Coastal Research (JCR) is the leading international scientific journal devoted to the ongoing research of coastal studies and it is officially published by the Coastal Education and Research Foundation (CERF).
- Please use the template and instructions to prepare your paper.
- Reviewers will be specifically asked whether a paper is in the correct format and we will not be correcting the lay-out of your paper. If the paper is not in the JCR format, it will not be accepted.
- Also note that papers to be submitted should be 5 pages long. Papers that exceed the page limit will be rejected and papers with less than 5 pages are unlikely to contain sufficient information to warrant publication either. The template is in Word format ( .doc), and your paper must be submitted in the same format.
- Full papers are not mandatory, however if you would like to submit a paper the deadline is November 14th 2019.
- All papers will be peer reviewed, please note you may be given another author's paper for review as part of this process.
- Only authors of accepted abstracts will be able to upload the corresponding paper through the submission form.
- Please use the email and password provided by email in the acceptance notification to access to your profile in order to upload the corresponding paper.
